I feel so sad when I see pictures on tumblr of bunnies in tiny cages lined with wood chips and no hay in sight. Not an elitist rabbit owner as I’ve not always known proper care for the small ones, but please! These animals are much different than rats, mice, or hamsters. They need space to hop, stretch, and binky when they see fit to do so. Rabbits are not even rodents. Please, please, please do your research before you bring a bunny into your home. They are fickle little creatures and take a lot of care.
